Los premios de The Game Awards 2023, donde pudimos conocer cuál es el Juego del Año, se efectuaron este 7 de diciembre. La gala, organizada por Geoff Keighley, inició a las 7:30 de la noche, hora de Cuba, y desde Canal USB te llevamos todos los detalles de los ganadores en cada categoría.
El Juego del Año 2023 (GOTY 2023)
En la categoría principal y más importante, la de Mejor juego del año 2023 (popularmente conocido como GOTY, por sus siglas en inglés), estaban nominados estos seis videojuegos en The Game Awards:
- Alan Wake 2
- Baldur’s Gate 3 (GANADOR🥇)
- Marvel’s Spider-Man 2
- Resident Evil 4
- Super Mario Bros. Wonder
- The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
Baldur’s Gate 3 se alzó con el premio, tal y como vaticinaban la mayoría de las encuestas, y el director del juego recogió el premio vestido con estilo.
The Game Awards inició con un pequeño show previo para calentar motores con algunos anuncios de una media hora de duración. La gala de The Game Awards 2023 como tal, con una duración de alrededor de 3 horas, tuvo entre sus presentadores a los actores Timothée Chalamet y Anthony Mackie, a Zedd, y a miembros del reparto de la próxima serie de Fallout, como Ella Purnell, Walton Goggins y Aaron Moten, entre otros, según anunciaron los organizadores.
La empresa Nintendo fue la que acumuló más nominaciones a The Games Awards con un total de 15, seguido de PlayStation con 13, mientras que Xbox, Bethesda y Activision Blizzard tuvieron 10.
La ceremonia se transmitió por streaming mediante los canales oficiales de The Games Awards 2023 en YouTube, Twitch, X, Facebook Live, Steam, IGN, Gamespot, TikTok Live, Instagram Live, Kick y Google Play.
